On November 25, 26 and 27(2021) the IX Congress of the Spanish Society for Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety (SESSEP) was held in the city of Granada.
Cristina Alfonso Arias, nurse and professor at the Department of Nursing at the International University of Catalonia (UIC), is the main author of the best winning communication presented at SESSEP’21 entitled ‘Randomized clinical trial in clinical simulation for the safe management of drugs . Immediate effectiveness and permanence for one year.’
The aim of the project was based on the assessment of the impact of a teaching intervention based on clinical simulation, comparing the use of two fidelities: high and low-medium to improve the competence of safe medication management, aimed at second-year students. course and its effectiveness over time 12 months after the intervention.
